Week Long Summer Lease Program

  • $550 per week 9-1 Supervised
  • 3 lessons, 2 rides, 2 ground school classes
  • Same pony for the week.

WAWF runs an educational working student program year round. The positions are applied for. Extensive training preparation takes place prior to a rider becoming a working student. Students work with the academy and show horse programs.

The Mini Mounters Program is in place for the younger rider (Under 5yo). Lessons are shorter in time with the focus being on basic horsemanship and riding position fundamentals.

MEET OUR CURRENT WORKING STUDENTS

Jane Liang

Jane

Jane and her horse curt have been a team since May 2019. Jane is a riding student at WAWF as well as a working student. She is has become one of our lead working students and can be found – always busy – making grain, grooming, tacking up, riding or helping the younger riders.

Payton Wagner

Payton

Payton rides in WAWF’s Academy Program on Tuesdays. She also works on Tuesday’s and Sundays helping to tack up ponies and horses for lessons. She also aides in keeping the aisles neat, clean and safe.

Courtney Frombach

Courtney

Courtney lessons and day rides in our academy program. She also works to help keep the lessons running on time on Thursday and Sunday. She maintains the aisle clean up, tack room organization and tacks up and cares for horses and ponies.

Sam Stepanik

Samantha "Sam"

Sam is our head working student. She aids in all the programs and their functions.  Sam helps to exercise horses and pones, tack ups and is well equipped with knowledge to help assist with management in  the barn when needed. Sam and  her horse Cocktail are new team for 2020!
